What are the differences between evaluation version and standard version of HWDIRECT?
Evalution version of HWDIRECT disables Write To Hardware and Save To File functions.   To get standard version with both Write To Hardware  and Save To File functions enabled, please order the product from our website.
 
Does HWDIRECT support 64-bit Windows? 
HWDIRECT supports 64-bit Windows for AMD Athlon64 and Opteron processors.  HWDIRECT does not support 64-bit Windows for Intel IA64 processors.
 
Does HWDIRECT support multi-processor systems?
Yes.  In CPUID and MSR Read/Write tool, you can choose which processor to access.
 
Why are no vendor name and device name displayed for my PCI devices?
Your PCI support text file may be outdated.  The latest version of PCI support text file can be downloaded here.
 
Why do I get a blue screen when I am trying to read MSRs?
The MSR you are trying to read is not supported by your processor.
 
Can I save all data in Child windows I opened?
Yes.  You can either click the Save All button in taskbar, or from menu File -> Save all.
 
What processors does HWDIRECT support in CPUID tool?
Currently, only Intel and AMD processors are officially supported by CPUID too of HWDIRECT.  However, you are able to dump all raw data of VIA and Transmeta's processors.  You may not get detailed interpretation of these raw data though.
 
Does HWDIREDT support Windows 95 and NT 4.0?
No.  Windows 95 and NT 4.0 are not officially supported because they are fairly old operating system.  (That means we never tested HWDIRECT on a Windows 95 and NT 4.0 system.)  However, please let us know if you would like to have support for these two OSes.
