Technical Info

HWDIRECT API provides a set of interface to access PC system hardware register. It includes interface to access I/O, PCI configuration space (Including PCI Express), memory, and CPU MSR. The HWDIRECT API itself is written in C++ and is supplied as a DLL. The code can be called from C/C++ software or Visual Basic. The API Package includes the sample code to invocate these APIs. Currently HWDIRECT API support Windows platform.

License pricing

The price consists of a developer license fee, and a deployment license fee. The developer license fee is a fixed amount and we will provide payment instructions and download link by request. The deployment fee is calculated on a sliding scale, such that larger deployments are proportionally cheaper. The deployment fee is priced according to the number of end users anticipated or - if it is to be included in a server product - the number of servers it is to be installed on.

If you can give us more details of your anticipated deployment of the software we'll be happy to give you a more precise quote. Once we have agreed a price we can send you payment instructions.

Support

Developers will be offered free of charge any updates that occur for up to one year from the date of purchase. During this time email support will be offered to a few named contacts.

After one year developers may choose to continue to receive upgrades and support by paying an annual fee in advance, usually set at around 20% of the initial license fee. Unfortunately we do not have the resources to offer support to your end users.
